    • Does predator Helios Neo 16 lag more than other laptops?

    I've been using the Predator Helios Neo 16 (2023) for six months, and overall, I like its performance. However, I've noticed some issues:

    • Sometimes, the laptop lags.
    • Typing gets delayed.
    • It takes longer to load after boot, even with no background programs running.
    • Accessing settings (like account settings or changing wallpaper) takes over a minute.

    I have another laptop with Windows 11, but I haven't faced these issues there. Is this a problem with Windows 11 or my device? Any solutions?

      HI, I have the PHN16-71-50JG 2023 (Intel i5) and this is the fastest laptop I ever used, make sure your battery is 100% charged, the power adapter is plugged in 24/7, Predator Sense is updated with the Microsoft (Windows) Store and that BIOS and Windows are fully up to date. Uninstall all preinstalled bloatware and 3rd-party browsers-virus checkers that run at the background clogging up your network (Cloud telemetry) and using all your resources (RAM), open Task Manager-Processes and check that the background apps don't exceed 80 by much, also disable Startup programs that you don't need. Run these commands as Administrator: Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and SFC /scannow that should complete with "…did not find any integrity violations", finally open Storage Sense and after scanning click on the Temp. bin as you may have GBs of junk files that you need to remove.

      Thanks for this, i mostly check all this and try to keep my laptop efficient as possible. But the problem is still there, so i was wondering what can be the cause.

      What Windows version do you have installed? If still Windows11 Home 23H2 you can try "Reset this PC" without losing your files option.

      @SimantPandey where you able to fix the issue? what gpu mode are you using ?

      i don't know if it was solved or not. I am not currently facing any type of issue besides some app being slow to start and crashing (may be application problem) . I am using Nvidia RTX 4070(8gb) GPU.

      @SimantPandey you mean to say you are using nvidia gpu only mode right?

      i didn't properly get your question. But if you are saying that my applications mostly used nvidia gpu then yes, i have set the application on the laptop to use nvidia gpu only
