To download the drivers for your Acer Aspire Switch SW5-111 directly from Acer's website, visit the official Acer Drivers & Manuals page. Enter "SW5-111" in the search bar or navigate to the model manually by selecting the appropriate series. Once you've accessed the page for your device, you'll find a list of drivers tailored for your laptop. Download and install the necessary drivers

there are no drivers in any website in acer. from US to PH acer sites no drivers are there at all. they stopped supporting this device I think because they removed every driver for this device. if it was there i wouldn't be asking help here. it would have been as easy as 1,2 & 3.

Acer support for the Aspire SW5-111/SW5-111P has finished as this laptop is more than a 10 years old design and Acer phases driver support out after 10 years. Go to HelpDrivers that is a reputable 3rd party driver site (that I've used and their drivers work) as they have available 18 files for the Acer SW5-111 laptop and they are all legit. Good luck.

touchscreen driver is not in helpdrivers. that's all i need now only the touchscreen drivers for the touchscreen to run properly. it detects already that it switches from tablet mode to laptop mode but still no touchscreen support. it keeps saying the device is not touchscreen compatible. dunno what else to do about it. searched google and everything nothing. just wish acer would leave a site where old laptop drivers are instead of "killing" the whole laptop by not distributing its drivers today. and finding the touchscreen driver is very hard or almost impossible.

Do you see any yellow triangle in the device manager?

Try the Fn + F7 keys as the touchscreen might be turned off and that is why its not functioning in your Aspire SW5-111.

hid touchscreen is nowhere to be seen on device manager even in hidden ones. just the laptop saying this is not a touch screen device. it can detect when it goes to tablet mode but no touch screen.

tried it none worked forthe touch screen. even tried installing realtek sound driver restarted also no effect. it really needs the "Acer" drivers for it to be detected by the laptop. both for touch screen and sound.

like i said i just need the exact driver for my laptop sw5-111. exact driver for the touchscreen in order for it to work. no matter what you say i need to find it will not show up unless the driver is installed. i also tried everything from looking at "triangles" or errors in it, to using google to search for it and even going to the acer website. literally nothing. no EXACT driver. that is all i need the EXACT driver for the touchscreen if someone can give me that i can get the touchscreen to work. that is all the problem and that single driver is all i need.

If the HID touchscreen driver for your Aspire SW5-11 that you need came from the official Microsoft Update Catalog, then search for it there. If you have other third party anti-virus program, I would suggest turning it off temporarily so that there would be no issues in installing the driver. try that as there is no specific touchscreen driver for this laptop.

Since Acer has stopped support for the Switch SW5-111 laptop go to HelpDrivers as they have available 18 files for the Acer SW5-111 laptop and they are all legit and may have a specific touchscreen drive. Good luck and hope this helps you out further as that is all the solutions for this that I can assit you with.

it doesn't need to come from microsoft. the driver needs to come from acer itself. once it is installed microsoft can detect the hid touchscreen without it nothing. tried other sited but no driver for touch screen. even their drivers for sounds doesn't work. dunno why acer needs to make this kind of things hard for their consumers. just wish they would put old drivers in a single place so it wont be a hassle like this.
