Either a power, bad driver or overheating issue. Start with a battery report: Paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click or press Ctrl+P and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert.

Hi, the battery is only 1 year old, but the laptop model is from 2020, did you reinstall Windows last year or replaced that battery recently? Boot to Safe Mode and see if crashes still happen: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-startup-settings-1af6ec8c-4d4a-4b23-adb7-e76eef0b847f

If your Acer Aspire 7 laptop is shutting down frequently, especially during demanding tasks, it could be due to overheating, power settings, or hardware issues. Here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:
    Potential Causes:-

    Overheating:-
Inadequate Cooling: The laptop might not be able to dissipate heat effectively, especially if vents are blocked or the cooling system is failing.
Demanding Tasks: Running resource-intensive programs or games can cause the laptop to generate excessive heat.
Thermal Paste: The thermal paste between the processor and heatsink might have dried out or become ineffective, hindering heat transfer.
    Power Settings:
Incorrect Power Plan: The laptop might be configured to shut down or enter sleep mode too quickly when on battery or under certain load conditions.
Battery Issues: A failing battery might cause the laptop to shut down unexpectedly, especially when unplugged.
    Hardware Issues:
Faulty Components: A failing component, such as the power supply, fan, or motherboard, could lead to shutdowns.
Loose Connections: Loose connections inside the laptop, such as battery terminals or power connectors, can cause intermittent shutdowns.
    Software Issues:
Driver Problems: Outdated or corrupted drivers, especially for graphics or power management, can lead to instability and shutdowns.
Malware: Malware can consume system resources and cause overheating or shutdowns.
Corrupted System Files: Damaged system files can lead to unexpected shutdowns.
