How do I set all keys to same color and brightness in Predator Helios 16 Model N23Q1 Keyboard RGB

Model N23Q1

Just purchased one of these. Only issue is the keyboard RGB.

How do I set all keys to the same color and brightness. I am not a gamer and do not need the WASD brighter.

I just want to set every key to the same color (and intensity) and have the change be permanent. During boot, during login, always.

How do I do this?

Right now when I power on the keys are all multicolor color cycling. Then it gets to the Windows sign on. Then the WASD keys remain color cycling, but the rest of the keys go to the color I set (not all same intensity). Then after a little bit the WASD keys change color the same as the other keys. Then I sign in. But WASD, space, enter, backspace etc are still brighter. I want all keys the same color and brightness ALWAYS.

Surely this is possible? Please help.

I am going to use this for AI and not gaming. I do not need or want WASD lit up brighter for me. I want to use it like a business laptop. If I could set consistent key colors it will be perfect. Otherwise it runs great and I have no problems, just these key colors.

I don't know what your exact Predator laptop is, as its NOT recognized by the Model N23Q1, as its recognized by model numbers like, PHN16-xx or PH16-xx or PH18-xx etc so next time tell us the exact model member that your laptop sticker on its underside says, and yes I know that it Says Model N23Q1 but that is an Acer ID only and not what your latop ID is.

All the RGB colors and lights is controlled within Predator Sense and if that does not work then you need to send your new laptop to Acer tech support in your country as the keyboard is faulty. Good luck.

How do I use the Predtaor Sense Lighting to set a single color the same intensity for all keys?

Open PredatorSense: Press the PredatorSense key on your keyboard, click on the PredatorSense icon on your desktop, or select PredatorSense from your start menu programs. Navigate to Lighting: In the PredatorSense software, click on the "Lighting" tab in the left column. Adjust Lighting Settings: Change your lighting profile settings to "Static" and select the desired color for all keys.

    Pressed the PredatorSense key.
I do not see a left column or lighting in the left column.
If I click Home at the top there is an "Effect" link on the right side Scenario Profile area.
Clicking that opens Scenario → Pulsar Lighting
That has 2 options. Global or Area.
    Under Global I select Static.

Now all keys turn blue, but the WASD and the other select keys are brighter than the rest?
I want all keys to be the same brightness.
I also want the change I make to always "stick" during usage, shutdown, startup, login, etc.

You would assume (or maybe it is just me) that the most obvious setting for RGB keys is to pick a color and have every key turn that color with the same brightness.

The closest I got yet is to use the individual key settings and the magkey settings to dim those keys to match the rest, like this.

All key RGB lighting color now "match" close enough to be acceptable.
Because the rest of the keys have the dimmer light all keys now are at a dimmer level. It would be nice if it was possible to boost all the non WASD keys up to match that brightness. But that does not seem possible?

Is there a way to set a single global matching RGB value and brightness to all keys and have them always display that way?

When I shutdown now, all keys turn off escept WASD. At least they use my specific color now. Then the laptop powers off.
    I turn on.
Keys all do the rainbow color cycling mode. WASD very bright.
Boot gets to showing the signon screen (just time and date floating)
All keys show orange. WASD shows color cycling still.
Then after 30 seconds or so WASD also turns orange.
All intensities and colors now match.

I just want them all to be the same color and brightness all the time when the laptop is on.

Hi, set RGB to 255,255,255 that will be 100% white. The WASD zone cannot be controlled.

The WASD can be controlled as I show above (the MagKey specific colors can be tweaked). I don't want 100% white. And even if I set that, the other color issues would still happen during startup and shutdown.
I will just have to live with the subpar dimmer brightness keys to get consistant brightness across all keys then.
It just seems like such an obvious oversight to not support that. Especially with the price Acer charges for these laptops.

I have an older gigabyte laptop I upgraded from that I easily set 1 color, full brightness all keys, done. That setting sticks and I never changed it since. It does not deicde to change when it starts up or shuts down.

    @JohnS1234

The WASD keys are designed to be brighter for the custom keycaps.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

I understand that is the purpose.
I am able to get all keys the same color and brightness now.
If the issue of them changing colors when shutting down and starting up it would be better. And if all keys could be set as bright as when the WASD keys are boosted brighter.
Seems such a simple fix. Does anyone prefer the brighter WASD etc to all keys the same brightness? Just seems like a gimmick to me. But then I am not using this for gaming.
