Hello! I have an A315-58. I cannot connect to wi-fi. When I open device manager, the Intel Wireles AC 9462 has an exclamation mark on it. I am not able to update the driver. Any suggestions?

Got it fixed! Go to Intel website. It will update everything that needs updating, etc.

    @Johnerb

Let's try to troubleshoot the issue together:

Open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start button and selecting "Device Manager." Expand the "Network adapters" section and see if your network adapter is listed. If it has a yellow exclamation mark, it might indicate a driver issue.

Visit the Acer support page and download the latest network drivers for your model. Make sure to select the correct operating system before downloading1.

In Device Manager, right-click your network adapter and select "Disable device." Wait a few seconds, then right-click it again and select "Enable device."

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status. Run the network troubleshooter to diagnose and fix common network issues.

If the above steps don't work, you can try resetting your network settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. This will remove and reinstall all your network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be a hardware problem, and you may need to please contact Acer support for further assistance.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

    Try windows x

    go to device manager

    expand network adapter

Right click on wifi adapter - uninstall

    restart the computer.

If it is still not working properly

    Go to website - support.acer.com

    chose your country

type the snid or chose the model no

    go to drivers

    Install the wireless driver

Before installing the wireless driver go to device manager - uninstall the wireless driver.  Without restarting the computer - try to install the wireless driver from acer support website.
