PT516-51s laptop is making loud fan noise even with low temps. How can I fix this?

hi guys

i own the predator 500 se (PT516-51s) and it can make a really loud fan noise even when just web browsing or just idling reaching 3000-3500 rpm for no good reason.

since I mostly use my computer studying at the university I charge it with a type c charger. so annoyingly while charging that way the predator sense doesnt let you control the fan speed modes.

at the beggining i thought maybe something is wrong so i started monitoring temps but they are ususally pretty low around 50-60 c for both the system and the cpu.

i tried almost every third party app there is to try control tha fan speed but the motherboard doesnt support it. and there is nothing in bios that can help either.

i know a lot of times the fans are loud even when preforming low level tasks due to dust build up or something but in that case i should see the temps rise right? since they are not i less suspect that's the case but correct me if wrong i just want my laptop to stop making so much noise.

The PT516-51s laptop is a 2021 released laptop and going on 4 years old, you need to clean the fans as they are probably full of felt and dust and their bearings could be damaged and you might need to replace the fans, or the fans have that much felt and dust that its making the fans blades spin unevenly and that is why they are making a noise as their blades are hitting the fans casings, hence the noise.

Open the back cover of your PT516-51s laptop and clean the fans with a brush and a can of compressed air, if this does not fix the problem you need to buy new fans, the only problem is that Acer does not sell the fans separately as they come sealed as a unit with the thermal module (see below) so search eBay or the web and see if they have genuine fans which I think are a specialized metal blade fans for this Triton model. just want to note that i bought the laptop new from newegg 2 years ago so fans arent been working for 4 years and the fan noise im talking about comes are a result of them spinning too fast like 3500 rpm even when just web browsing and the temps are 50c

Clean the fan blades first and the internals of your laptop, if that doesn't fix the issue replace the fans, search the web as the PT516-51s fans are on eBay for USD $66.50 for all 3 fans or look on Amazon or Ali Express if they have fans for the Predator Triton PT516-51s laptop and replace them.
