The AMD Ryzen 6800H cpu fitted to your AN515-46 laptop can work with a max removable ram of DDR5-4800 MT/s CL40 speed or with laptops that have the Ryzen 6800H cpu with max soldered onboard ram of LPDDR5-6400MT/s speed, the ram speed is restricted to those speeds by the AMD cpu and you need to populate both ram modules with equal ram capacity like 2x8GB or 2x 16GB or 2x 32GB to have full dual channel ram with both ram modules, so be aware of that.

Look at the Crucial memory for your AN515-46 laptop ram page as they have a very wide range of ram kits and single modules suited for the AN515-46,

The below specs is the DDR5-4800MT/s ram for your laptop DO NOT fit DDDR5-5600MT/s ram as it will be downclocked to 4800MT/s speed anyway because of the AMD Ryzen 6800H cpu. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    • DDR5-4800 • CL=40 • Non-ECC • SODIMM • 262-pins • 1.1V • 1Rx16 based • PC5-38400

Thanks for the answer!!! Take a look at the specifications!! So I have to buy the 4800 not the 5600, correct?

Yes, as and if you look in Task Manager > Performance > Memory your DDR5-5600MT/s ram will be @ 4800MTs speed NOT 5600MT/s speed because the cpu has a max of 4800MT/s ram speed and can't operate at 5600MT/s speed. But your ram now is operating at 4x 32 bit ram which is 4x 1195.2 = 4780Mt/s as shown in CPUz, that is how DDR5 operates in these new laptops.

Task Manager of my PHN16-71 laptop with 64GB at 2x 32GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL 40 Crucial ram

Below is my PHN16-71 13th Gen i5-13500HX laptop with 64GB at 2x 32GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL 40 Crucial ram, as an example.

The native memory operates at 4800MHz, probably due to a limitation of the processor itself.
Look for a module with the same specifications:
    SODIMM DDR5 5600MHz CL40 OR SODIMM DDR5 4800MHz CL40.

    Acer Predator Helios 300 Core i7 9750H
    Sodimm DDR4 2666MHz 16 GB Sk Hynx
    Sodimm DDR4 2666MHz 16GB Crucial
    SSD 512GB Sandisk Plus
SSD M2 Nvme 512GB XPG GAMMIX S11 Lite
    SSD M2 Sata3 128GB WD

Just a slight correction, as the Nitro 5 AN515-46 with the AMD Ryzen 6800H of the laptop in this post, is limited to removable max ram speed of 4800MT/s ram CL40 speed only or and if its a laptop with soldered ram with the 6800H cpu and has soldered ram, its limited to max LPDDR5-6400MT/s type ram.

The newest Nitro ANV16-41 with the AMD Ryzen™ 7 8845HS can run removable ram type DDR5-5600MT/s CL46 not CL40. Or and if its a laptop with soldered ram its soldered ram is limited to max LPDDR5x-7500MT/s type ram.

I opened up my laptop today and it has 2 removable 8gb ram 5600. I bought the crucial 4800 CL40. I dont know if worth it buying another one to get 32gb or just stay with 16 gb🥲🥲

To get 32GB @ DDR5-4800MT/s CL40, you must discard the oem Acer fitted 2x 8GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 ram modules (maybe sell them online) and buy a new kit from Crucial @ 2x 16GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 to get 32GB total ram, so that your laptop will run at ram speed of 4800MT/s speed in Task Manager. Good luck.
