Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41 frequent Bluetooth cutouts and short battery life, any fixes?

Hello,

I just purchased an Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41 from Amazon. I noticed two issues with it. The Bluetooth seems to cut out fairly frequently no matter the media I am watching. Also, the battery is advertised to last 8-10 hours and it only lasts a little under 4.

Are these normal issues or could this laptop be defective? Are there any fixes versus returning it to Amazon for another one?

    Hi @csimons2 regarding BT, first of all, go to Windows Update to update your device.
    What devices do you have for BT? Keep in mind that the range of BT is very limited.
    Regarding the battery, four hours is very good, I would say extraordinary, that is for normal use, for intensive use it will be around two or three hours.


    The advertised battery life is an ideal time in theoretical conditions according to its chemical characteristics, but it does not indicate the practical duration.

  • Make sure, as I mentioned, that your computer is updated from Windows Update and that your headphones are charged.
    Also try unpairing the headphones, restarting your computer and pairing them again.
