What is the exact "Acer 3 14" model of your PC? As that description means ZERO as it could be any PC, be more specific and not so vague, is it the current 14" Aspire laptop the Aspire AV14-41 or 51 or 53 etc, as we need to know the exact model and type of Acer PC that you have, so that we can guide you precisely!

Anyway, for an M.2 SSD drive or a 2,5' SSD drive or mechanical drive, for a capacity upgrade and for you to retain the oem Acer Win-11 operating system, you need to clone the Acer Win-11 with the new drives recommended cloning software like Acronis or Macrium or for Samsung drives they have their own Samsung data Migration software and then transfer the bootable OS onto the large capacity drive, its a very simple process. Good luck.

Hi, if cloning is a bit too complicated or you don't have any cloning software, you can use your external USB backup HDD (that you should have anyway to monthly backup your complete boot drive). I have been using USB backup drives with the Windows7 Image File creator program in Control Panel for the last 15 years (twice a month), never had data recovery issues even with bad or encrypted boot drives. W7 Backup will also create a Windows Recovery flash drive at the end that you will need to recover the backups or repair your laptop after a crash or when you can't boot anymore. Highly recommended.
