I need to reset Windows 10 on my Predator computer. When I try it immediately fails. I've tried using the Acer care center and the the boot repair function. I got an error about required files being missing. How can i get this to work?

Hi, it appears that your recovery partition is corrupted, you can try in safe mode, either by interrupting the booting 3 times with the power button and you will get the blue Repair-Troubleshoot screen that has "Reset this PC" without losing your files and in the Advanced menu has the "Go back to the previous build" options. But IMO the only way is a clean install of Window10 with an ISO file downloaded from UUPdump.net. I recommend you stay with Windows11 as W10 is no longer supported by Microsoft and W10 security updates will stop in October so you will need to buy Norton or McAfee to protect your system from malware.

Use SFC and DISM to repair the Windows installation, the retry the reset. Since you haven't told us which model Predator you have, we can't give much more specific help. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx.
