Hi, I tried to upgrade my RAM from DDR4 16GB 3200MHz to DDR4 32GB 3200MHz. PC regonizes 32GB of memory but new memory speed is only 2133MHz. Is there compatibility issues or can I adjust somewhere RAM speed?

Current PC Acer Nitro N50-650. One picture shows my old RAM speed which was 3200MHz.

Screen shots are from current setup with old memory

@Fogel12 I have messaged you, to see if you have resolved this issue as i have had exactly the same issue, adding twice the ram, with it reading lower MHz. The fact you can not enter BIOS and up the mhz is very dissapointing. If you managaged to fix this., pease forward me on the details of the make and model of the new ram stick. Much appreciated. Kind regards. Col.

The ram in the Nitro N50-650 desktop if installed with equal capacity and the recommended DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8 • PC4-25600 type ram or the below listed Acer recommended ram which should work at the specified ram speed of 3200MT/s in Task Manager > Memory and not at 2133MT/s speed, as the 2133MT/s speed means that the two ram modules are different or one is faulty or the ram slot has faulty/broken pins or lose pins from the mobo, so that has to be all checked out.

Also make sure that your are running the last bios version which fixed the INTEL Microcode 0x12B update for the Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPU issue – dates: 2024/11/26 - version R01-B1, as this is a MUST install bios for this desktop to function properly with its either i7-13700F or i5-13400F cpu's and to also coordinate with proper ram fi=unction that is largely determined by the cpu microcode function and versions, so be aware of all this also.

This desktop has 2x Gen 4 x4 M.2 type slots for its boot drive and for a its 2nd SSD slave drive slot and also has 2x Serial ATA 6Gb/s connectors for either 3.5" mechanical HDDs or 2,5" mechanical HDD or SSD drives. Using the specified ram and M.2 SSDs will make this desktop perform at its peak performance. Good luck.

The below specs is what Acer recommends as the memory specs and modules to be used in this N50-650 desktop

@StevenGen Thank you for your reply and input. I have tried Corsair VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16 Intel XMP 2.0 advised by Mr Memory online shop. These are the ram that couldnt reach more than 2200MHZ. Tomorrow i have 2 of the the Lexar UDIMM 16GB DDR4 RAM 3200 MHz, 288-Pin DDR4 U-DIMM Desktop Memory sticks coming. After reading your recommendation, im now not sure if these new RAM sticks will work either. I have also tried searching for the ones pictured by you, online and am having no luck finding the exact ones.. So frustrating. I'm also confused about the NON ECC as some RAM im searching for doesnt even state if it is, or is not… I'll get there in the end. I'm determined! lol Also, yes, i do have the updated bios (R01-B1)
