Acer Swift Go 14 Laptop - Freezes occasionally requiring hard shut down

I have a occasional random freeze on my laptop, whereby, nothing works (keyboard and mouse also don't work), and the only way to recover it is to long-hold the power button to do a hard shut down. I restart the laptop then it works fine.

At first, i thought it may be related to the peripheral ports - I have two monitors connected to my laptop - one via HDMI and the other through a USB hub which is connected to one of the laptop's USB-C port.

However, even after disconnecting all peripherals, and using the laptop just by itself (i.e. the in-built mouse and keyboard), I still got the above issue.

On my laptop I only have official, well known software, like the office 365, norton etc installed on my laptop. I do not have random third party less known software installed.

I am seeking some help to solve this issue. I am also wondering could this be a hardware related issue?

Do you see any entries in Event Viewer just before the freeze? How often does this happen?

No didnt check that. I will lookout for that when it next happens.

It doesnt happen often. I use the laptop on average 1hour a day, and the issue happens once in a month or so.

Yes, that is going to make it tough to diagnose… How do you know when it's fixed, other than waiting a few months to see if it reappears. :(
