I was under the impression they all shipped with 2.0 installed… What firmware was in your before the update?

From your first picture, we know the monitor can display the right stuff, or else the menu would be as bad as the rest. What does your OS say about the display adapter and resolution?

i cant see it clearly, but if I changed to the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor, it can change to 2K resolution but the strip line still existed. If I flash the software 2.0 on the monitor that shipped with the 2.0 version, will it cause the firmware to corrupt?

Using HDMI cable that comes with the monitor can get 2560x1440. If I change the refresh rate to 120 or 144hz, it will blur the screen more worst.

Unless you have a bad cable, that sure looks like it's a GPU problem, and not a monitor problem.

i have another acer monitor that display no issue and still playing games with it. This happen after the firmware update. So I can concluded that the GPU is not faulty. Same HDMI cable and DP cable used for both monitor.

I am having the exact same issue as this. Switched cables, plugged into motherboard instead of GPU, attempted update again, installed drivers, nothing fixed it. Contacted support, they wouldn't send a firmware file from their end and want it sent for repair instead. I suspect the file on the site is faulty or outdated. Before updating, my OSD had a few settings not found in the manual or on 2.0 after updating, so I may have been on a more recent version without knowing. The firmware update should have checks in place of what version you currently have to not accidentally downgrade or install the same version.

Picture of HDMI from motherboard at 120hz. Looks the same on Nvidia GPU. 144hz looks like TV static.

DisplayPort looks the same as @kaide23
