Unable to overclock CPU beyond boost settings in Predator PO5 615s, how to access custom settings?

System: Predator PO5 615s

Motherboard: Z49H5 AM

First and foremost. My UEFI is the old blue, gray. Why is that? Is it supposed to be like this?

When going to advanced, and choosing cpu, there are only options for "Faster" or "Boost". My warranty has run out a long time ago, and i have upgraded the cpu cooler to handle overclocking. I wish to overclock the CPU (i7 10700k) to 5Ghz which it can handle perfectly fine. but the closest you get with the boost function is 4.8Ghz. Is there a way of unlocking these advanced settings in BIOS/UEFI? The settings are extremely limited.

I even transferred the system to a new case for better airflow, because the previous case could not handle RTX 3080. So any help or solutions here would be greatly appreciated!

Acer does not allow specific cpu overclocking in your Predator Orion PO5-615s desktop computer, it only allows these desktops memory to be overclocked with XMP type ram, the PO5-615s has the following bios cpu, memory and encryption settings at its BIOS > Advanced > CPU and Chipset Configuration and what their functions are, you can't overclock and/or change the voltage to the cpu.. Turbo Mode (Normal) - This item allows users to select the Normal, fast or turbo mode let CPU overlock function to disabled/enabled
Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P) (Disabled) - This item allows users to enable or disable the memory overlock function
Intel AES-NI (Disabled) - This item allows users to enable or disable the Intel AES-NI, which is an Intel Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions (AES-NI) which is an extension to the x86 instruction set architecture for microprocessors from Intel and AMD

Yes, you are lucky as you can change the board of your PO5-615s desktop very easily as its not an Acer proprietary shape board and its size is close to a mATX size (measure your board for an exact replevined size) and you also have a 24pin oem 750W or 500W PSU that you can upgrade to what is required for a good gpu upgrade, to either the latest AMD Ryzen 9000X3D Series processors or the 14th Gen DDR5 boards, all you will need is to buy some new and appropriate DDR5 ram.

Note: if you intend using your PO5-615s for gaming and overclocking change the mobo to the AMD platform, as the new 13th/14th Gen Intel cpu's you can't overclock and they are not as good a platform for gaming, Good luck and hope this helps you out.
