Do you have a reason why you would need TPM on this old machine? It will not run Windows 11 with the Ivy Bridge motherboard design from 2012.

I would like to put in a TPM and see if I can use windows 11 in Oct. Looking at others who use the same CPU i7 3770s (not compatible) are having no issues running the new windows. Would like to see if it will work or if Microsoft will make any future changes so I can keep my computer.

Your Aspire ZS600 AIO computer will NOT operate on the Microsoft genuine Win-11 OS, the 3rd Gen cpu PCs that are running Win-11 on a 3rd Gen Intel computer are running a non genuine windows copy version. To put a 2.0 TPM on your AIO you need to buy a 2.0 TPM chip and get a technician with a microscope to take the old TPM chip out and put the new 2.0 chip, but your AIO will still NOT be Win-11 compatible as it needs a minimum spec Intel 8th Gen cpu.

Forget about the 2.0 TPM chip upgrade as its a waste of time and money, its cheaper and 100% better to buy a new Win-11 AIO like the new 23.8" Aspire C24 All-in-One Desktop - C24-1700-UR12 $549.00 with the following specs:

    • Windows 11 Home
    • Intel® Core™ i5-1235U processor Deca-core
    • 23.8" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9
    • Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics eligible shared memory
    • 8 GB, DDR4-3200MT/sCL22 SDRAM, can be upgraded to 32GB max total.
    • 512 GB PCIe 3 x4 SSD that can be upgraded from 512Gb to max of 8TB.

As buying a new AIO is the best way to upgrade to Win-11 and keep your old AIO as a spare and upgrade the old Aspire ZS600 to the last Win-10 OS built version. Good luck.

Although there are hacks that will allow W11 to install, Microsoft considers those to violate the licensing agreements. With an illegal install like that you could end up with lots of unresolved issues. Best to just stick with W10 if you aren't going to upgrade the hardware to something less than six years old.
