I need to update the BIOS/UEFA of the following laptop of 2013: Acer Aspire V3 771.

The Acer support for the Aspire V3 771 has terminated, I suggest that you go to the Aspire V3-771 HelpDrivers drivers' site as they have 81 driver files including the last bios Version 2.28 for Win-7 and Win-8 drivers that also work for Win-10 for this laptop. This 3rd party site is a legit site, and their drivers are also legit and genuine, so be aware of that as I can recommend them as I've used their drivers for my V3-571G and they worked perfectly.

I suggest that you uninstall and then reboot the laptop so that the drivers get reinstalled automatically and see if that fixes the driver issues, or refresh the drivers through Device Manager first, before completely uninstalling and reinstalling new drivers especially with bios, where you should be careful as you can brick the laptops bios chip program. Sorry about that thomashoyle, but as far as I'm aware the bios v2.28 is the last bios version that can be obtained for the V3-771 laptop, there is no reason to give you any further advice if I don't have any further information, as Acer has terminated support on the Aspire V3-771 and there is no information in the V3-771 laptops service guide that we have access to all the bios versions, as its not listed. Contact Acer in your country for further advice on the bios version. I've done all the research for you and given you a very useful link to a 3rd party site that is legitimate so that you have access to all the drivers for the V3-771, what else do you want?

Do the work yourself as the bios is not all that these old laptops need updating to fix the problems that you are having, as their components do fail or need replacing after a certain period of time as this laptop was released in 2012/3/16 and its going on to a 13 years old laptop. With the sound reinstall the Realtek and Intel graphics as that has a bearing on the audio, with the rest replace the battery and Wi-Fi/BT card.

These are the components that you should change if the battery is failing as a laptop battery needs to be replaced after max 4-5 years and the Wi-Fi/BT card Bluetooth could be faulty and you might need to replace the card also.
