Yes, you can have up to two 16GB DDR4 sodimm modules 2400MHz or faster for a maximum of 32GB RAM. You can replace the 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SSD up to 2TB. You can also add an m.2 SSD card also up to 2TB.

It depends which cpu your Aspire E5-475 laptops has, as this laptop was release with the following cpu’s:

    • 6th Gen CPU max ram speed is DDR4-2133MT/s - 1.35V or 1.5V type ram
    • 7th Gen CPU max ram speed is DDR4-2400MT/s - 1.35V or 1.5V type ram
    • 8th Gen CPU max ram speed is DDR4-2400MT/s - 1.35V or 1.5V type ram

So the max speed of whatever cpu your laptop has either a 6th or 7th or an 8th Gen cpu, your laptop only can run with the max speed ram @ DDR4-2400MT/s speed, you can’t run a quicker a ram speed as the speed is determined by the cpu, but if you put the DDR4-3200MT/s speed the laptop will not boot but if it does boot, then the ram will be down clocked and still operate at speed 2400MHz. Good luck and hope this helps you put.
