I didn't receive the screws so need to order replacements however cant find any comments detailing the type of screw this is, please let me know if you can identify

I found this on a listing of the exact model of glass case, and for the life of me I cant find a single saleable listing online with the same design.

These are the PO3-650 desktops "Left Side Panel screws" which is the glass panel, as detailed in its Acer service guide. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Hi, thanks but this is incorrect.

This was the first thing I tried when I realised the screws were missing.

They are too short and if you compare the shape you can see that they are different and longer (the manual shows the ones you have mentioned in clearer detail)

That is what is listed in the Acer PO3-650 service guide, if your PO3-650 has different screws then see the screw list below for this desktop and buy the appropriate and correct screws that fit your desktop, as we can only give you what is listed in this desktops service guide listing that Acer has.

These are all the screws listed for the PO53-650 desktop.

This is again incorrect, please reference my image and you will see the shape is completely different and longer than all of the screws in this product, I suspect as it is part of the tempered glass unit SKU or missed entirely.

If you reference the use guide, you will see this shape clearly referenced (I can provide this as evidence if neccasary) additionally YouTube reviewers also confirm this. There are even other posts confirming that acer have not been able to identify the screw through support

Hey td2012, just work it out yourself, you have all the oem screw parts documented above and all the screws used on the PO3-650 desktop, we can't help you any further, otherwise consult Acer in your country, as the Acer community is a peer to peer community made up of people just like you and ranked members have access to service guides and that is all the information that I've given you, gees… you are very hard to please, be grateful that you have all this information!

hey @StevenGen I do not have the OEM parts documented above, as I have stated twice above.

Why are you 'we' as if someone that's not yourself may not recognise the screw above or has had the same issue and can contribute, weird.

I have already raised a ticket for this issue, this is to supplement this with community knowledge as you stated, no harm in doing both.

hard to please? I'm merely stating you have not solved the issue, no need to misinterpret what's being said here so I would just stop responding thanks.

Yes, Acer doesn't list the screws themselves in the parts lists, just the panel, which I assume comes with the screws. You should be able to tell fairly easily what size they are, M3, M4 or M5 I assume, then measure the thickness of the panel and add a bit to get the length. That will work even if it doesn't have the standoff portion, just don't over tighten them, they only need to be snugged up. If those back screws for the side cover fit, but are too short, then the screw size is #6-32.

🤣its not rocket science td2012, to figure all this out like billsey is pointing this out to you very clearly. You are one very ungrateful person and rude at the same time, as we are here to assist each other and not make enemies or be abusive to each other. I won't respond to you also.

I think the screws will work in terms of the thread but I believe the standoff portion is important to have so that the thread is not wearing on the inside of the glass panel, I think this will make it not a snug fit for that portion of the connection so I want to make sure i have the exact variation before I start compromising with alternate screw types but I will try this if all else fails.

😂 if its not rocket science why did you spend 3 posts ignoring what I was sayingand only commenting on how you felt slighted incorrectly? you say you wont respond but you literally just did, so weird. You are helping in bad faith if all you can comment is how obvious or simple a solution is when actually, again you are wrong, the solution has not been found.
