Hello everyone.

My Acer Aspire Switch Alpha 12’s battery needs to be replaced.

I signed up to this community seeking a recommendation on a legit Acer repair site.

Removing the LCD from the backing is a beast and I didn’t want to go to any ole repair site without asking here first.

Does anyone know of a high-quality repair tech in the NYC area that has familiarity with this repair?

Thanks!

Hi @Kane_Collins I recommend that you contact the Acer office in your country directly:

    www.acer.com/support

Also expect more responses from friends in the community who live in your area and have more information.

    Regards and Happy 2025.

    Thanks Alejandro for your response.

I think Acer support directed me to a paid 3rd party service for off-warranty support.

I'll check again though. Happy 2025!

As you mentioned, they must be workshops approved and authorized by Acer.

I'm on the wrong side of the country to help with a recommendation, but any competent technician can do the job. They only have to be wary of the one ribbon cable that runs between the motherboard and the pogo pins that connect the keyboard. When you pull the cases apart it's not too difficult to tear that.
