Question:

I would like to know for the RAM and SSD options

For the RAM , what is the speed ? is it 5600mhz/5200mhz/ 4800mhz ?

I know that the laptop has 2 slots, what is the maximum capacity ? is it 16 GB x 2 ? or perhaps it is upgradeable up to 32 gb x 2 ?

is there any not recommended brand (perhaps due to not compatible?)

Hi, you can upgrade with 2x 16GB DDR5-5600MT/s in this laptop to a maximum of 32GB total RAM, 2x ram slots instead of the 2x 8GB DDR5-5600MT/s type that Acer installed. Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR5-5600 SODIMM | CT2K16G56C46S5 | Crucial.com

There are 2 PCIe M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs, the main slot with the boot drive is 4x4 lanes for a Gen4 SSD like the Samsung 990 Evo Plus up to 2TB and slot 2 is 3x4 lanes for a Gen3 SSD like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus up to 2TB but a Gen4 SSD will also work at half the rated speed.

Too bad for the M2 :( , i expect to insert a new m2 card in my second slot without reducing the speed.

What if i insert gen 4 to the second slot ?

My Plan now is to purchase 2tb and insert it into my main slot and move my 500gb to my second slot.

A Gen4 SSD will cost the same as a Gen3 SSD so yes that will work fine in the second slot but keep in mind that the speed will be of a Gen3 SSD. If you plan to swap the drives an install the new 2TB Gen4 in Slot 1 that will work but the system will run slower with the boot drive in a 3x4 PCIe slot so you may want to transfer Windows11 to the new boot drive in Slot 1.
