Hello People

I have an Acer Aspire TC-875-UR11 with an i3-10100 CPU and would like to upgrade the heatsink and fan, but do not want to take out the motherboard. Does anyone know of a better heatsink/fan that will fit without removing the motherboard and pressing out the studs and installing a new plate on the back side, or is the OEM heatsink and fan proprietary to Acer Only? If anyone knows of a heatsink and fan assembly that’s better than the OEM one and will fit the factory motherboard studs can you Please advise with a link to one on Amazon, Newegg, eBay, etc?

First measure the space between the cpu and the ram then look at the Noctua Compatibility Centre for the best Socket 1200 i3-10100 CPU cooler that they have, as they have a big range that are all compatible, and then see which cpu cooler best fits into the space of your Aspire TC-875, as that is the best way to upgrade to a good quality cpu cooler like the Noctua range. Good luck

Measure the space shown below and then look at the dimensions of the Noctua compatible cooler at that link above.

Based on the case size, I expect the best choice for a Noctua cooler will be the NH-U9S. That's the one most recommended for the Predator Orion 3000 gaming systems, and they have a similar case size. You can install that without removing the MB by using four M3x10mm screws to mount to the stock backplate instead of the ones that come in the box.
