These laptops are designed to run at high temps especially with the 13th and 14th Gen Intel cpu's that have their other stability issues which temps were one of them, the Intel 14th Gen cpu is designed to run in Quite and Default mode at temps of up to 100C with fan speed @ 3100 / 3100rpm and in Performance and Turbo mode up to temps of 110C @ 5800 / 5200rpm fan speeds, I suggest not to run this laptop in Turbo mode, as the 110C temp and fan speeds is this laptop trigger to shutdown, the gpu has shutdown temp of 95C also.

That is the design of the Predator Helios Neo laptops as its made to run at high temps, so make sure that you have the last bios installed and all the windows available firmware's, run the latest Win-11 version 24H2 with the last OS build as of December 2014 version 26100.2454, install the NVidia GeForce Experience software to play games through and buy a multi fan tablet cooler as that also helps in reducing temps, as doing all this will ensure that your PHN16-72 will run at its peak and best performance. Good luck.

Hey bro, Thanks for the answer.

Dude, do you have the sources for these things you mentioned? I'm not doubting you, I just wanted to read more about these temperature issues. I've read about the 110ºC limit for Intel and 95º for Nvidia, but I've never seen anything more elaborate or official. I wanted to read more about this...

Can you help me find these sources?

The 110C temp is what Acer has in the PHN16-71 or 72 service guide for these laptops either 13th or 14th Gen cpu's. Acer tested these cpu's in quite, default, performance and turbo modes and the max for the first two modes is 100C and the last two is 110C. I don't know which PHN16 you have if its the PHN16-71 or the 72 which is the latest 13th Gen cpu laptop but the 13th Gen runs a bit cooler than the 14th Gen cpu but there is not much between them and the temps below is what these laptops were designed for,

Below are the temps and fan speeds for the PHN16-72 which is the 14th Gen Predator Orion Neo laptops for its cpu for all temps/fan speeds shown below, compare your laptop to these temps that Acer tested this laptop under and how your laptop should perform, and as you can see this laptop does reach high temps as its designed to do so. There is nothing else on this issue in the Acer service guide. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Yes, its normal because Predator and Nitro products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.
