If you replace the mainboard of your Aspire V5-571 with another compatible board then the cpu that you had before in your V5-571 laptop makes no difference, as you are replacing the whole mainboard and the old i3-2377M cpu board that you had has the same ram specs as the previous ram (max total is 8GB @ 2x 4GB DDR3-1600MT.s 1.5V 204-pin SO-DIMM type ram) will also work as will the 2.5" SATA 3 mechanical HDD its best to upgrade to a 2,5" SSD type drive for best performance.

The below list is for all the compatible mainboard that fit the Aspire V5-571PG / V5-571P model laptops and into their cases, and the board with the i5-3317U cpu is the Acer Part #:NB.M4811.002. Have a look at this board at this link here as this mobo is compatible with your V5-571 case and will fit and this board has got the i5-3317U cpu and the dedicated NVidia GT630M gpu and will work and fit into your V5-571 bottom case and connect to your LCD monitor and be compatible with your current ddr3-ram also. Good luck and hope this helps you out, if you have any other questions please ask as we have all the information on this laptop.

Use those Acer part numbers and specs I've given you above, but with the adds, make sure that they specify that the board is for the Aspire V5-571P as shown above, as ads from other Aspire laptops like the V5-591G model, will not fit into your case, so make sure that the new board is compatible with your V5-571 laptop .

This is a very easy upgrade to do, I've done this many times, as its a clean swap of the two mobos and then all you have to do is install the ram and the HDD, I would strongly recommend that you upgrade the oem SATA III mechanical drive to the 2.5 SSD type drive, as the performance improvement with an SSD is considerably faster (I know as I've done this a long time ago to many old Aspire laptops like 5750, V3-571G laptops with the then 2.5" Samsung model 850 EVO SATA III SSD) ) that was considerably faster and much more responsive than an old mechanical 2.5" HDD. Good luck

Both the V5-571P and the V5-531 are the same board with the same cpu and Acer part # NB.M4811.002 as detailed in both of these laptops service guide, so they should fit both laptops.
