I have ACER ALG gaming laptop. They gave an app. called "Fn hotkeys and OSD". Almost some days back, I was able to control the led by selecting the led menu from the top. now the app just crashes.

This seems to be a notoriously buggy app that may interfere with other apps or keyboard hotkeys that control similar or same functions. If, for example, another app or hotkey combo was used to change an LED function, the "Fn hotkey & OSD" app may now crash when trying to change that same LED function again.

Some users have reported simply shutting down and re-booting the machine will temporarily fix the problem. While others have reported only a factory reset will fix the problem. Still others have uninstalled the app and re-installed it from the Microsoft Store downloads.

    Reinstalling worked for me :)
I was a lil skeptical in doing this, as I didn't know whether it's the same thing on windows store as the one that came built in. But it is the same. It's working as normal now. Thanks :)

Then try shutting down and re-booting. Or try a factory reset.

What is your full ALG model number? For example, AG15-22P
