    There are a few things that can use battery when you think you are shut down. As suggested you might have something plugged into the USB port that has the feature of charging devices when the laptop is off:

    If you don't have anything plugged into that port then the ideas I was approaching in my first message are relevant, are you doing a full shutdown or hibernate, or just sleeping? Do you have Wake on LAN enabled (it is on by default)?

    Look into BIOS and see if "always on" USB is toggled to ON. If yes, turn it off.

    Also it could be a case of a bad or old battery. How old is your system.

    What computer do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. Needless to say, different models have different features, so your answer could be completely different than what was suggested. What OS is running on it? Are you shutting it down completely, allowing it to hibernate or just closing the lid so it sleeps? A full shutdown or hibernation usually doesn't leave you with any power draw unless a USB port is set to charge even when the system is off. But, there are other things that can cause a draw…

    There have been a lot of different Swift Go 14 models over the years, we need the actual model number. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SFG14-xxx-xxxx.

    To fix this problem, try to press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds after your device shuts down.

    This will force your laptop to go into the deep shutdown mode.

    After doing that, your laptop will be completely turned off and there won’t be any battery drain issues.

    You could read through the link below for more troubleshooting steps:-

    @St246

    Go into the Quick Access app, and turn off the Power-Off USB charging.

    Thanks for the answer. Almost the whole time, I had a USB module for a Bluetooth mouse inserted.

    I pulled it out now and will leave the laptop turned off overnight and see if the battery drops to 10% again.

    When I turn off the laptop, it only goes into full shutdown. Not sleep, not hibernation, not deep sleep. Just full shutdown. I will check more and answer again in 1-2 days after collecting information.

    Yes, that dongle likely kept the Bluetooth active at all time, even when fully turned off, since that port is designed to stay powered at all times. May I ask why you have a Bluetooth dongle installed? The laptop has Bluetooth built in, so shouldn't need a separate dongle. If the mouse were not Bluetooth you might need the dongle, but just pairing the Bluetooth to the mouse should have it working without.

    I thought so too, but no(. Yesterday I charged the netbook to 100% and full turned it off completely. 24 hours later I turned it on, and it now 92%. No USBs or anything else were turned on. Don`t understand, what else. When i use it, the battery save is very good and long, but when full turned off, just lose to 10% / 24 hours……

    If you have Wake on LAN enabled, and it's enabled by default, then the WLAN card is powered even with the laptop turned off.

    I disabled Wake on LAN yesterday, charged it to 100%, turned it off fully charged. Exactly 24 hours passed, turned it on and now it's 93%. And from summer when i bought the netbook, i used him maybe twenty times and not much.

    With it fully turned off and nothing in that port the only thing that I can think of that would be using power is the network, so I'm at a loss to suggest anything else.
