Greetings dear, Acer community. Recently I was struck with black screen of death upon launching the laptop.

I tried working around and reading tons of forums including this one about ways to make past through it.

Unfortunately for me nothing worked around. The laptop starts. Keyboard lights and fans work and nothing else does. Just a blank screen. The system isn't loading either since there is no POST screen.

What you guys think? Could laptop die within 2 months lifespan? I didn't really used it often either.

Hi, you have two options: Take the laptop to Acer Services in your country or boot with a recent Windows USB Recovery flash drive and in the Troubleshoot menu select "Reset this PC" with or without losing your files, whatever works (2nd picture). You can make this USB recovery boot drive on another PC with the same Windows version, insert a 10GB USB2.0 in that PC and in Windows Search type Recovery drive (see picture below):

Excuse me? But how would I end up in the troubleshoot mode if I can't see a thing?

I mean I did as you asked me to. I created an USB FAT32 Recovery disk. Do I need just to plug in the laptop?

The question is I highly doubt it would read any of the data on it since system just won't work properly.
The screen doesn't turn on. It's blank. As if disconnected totally. I waited even for hour or two while laptop was on in hope it would reset itself at some point and finally would give an image. Unfortunately that didn't happened either.

The laptop does react to the plugging and unplugging AC giving it's usual "beep" but nothing else expect fans going on low-mid speed and keyboard lights being on.

I even thought could it be the BIOS corruption and went as far to the "Crisis Recovery Mode" via USB.
I managed to get an BIOS image of my model from the Acer website and put in the root directory of the USB, and entering the "Crisis Recovery Mode" via Fn+Esc but in the end the USB LED on laptop panel just continued blinking for eternity. Fans wasn't going on max signifying the flashing procedure wasn't even starting properly.

I don't want to give up on this machine either.
But I am just afraid the Acer Service wouldn't repair the laptop even under the warranty.

Apparently my reply got deleted for some reason. I'll try to recap the info.

I am not sure how the recovery drive would help me restore the laptop since I can't see a thing. No BIOS. No POST. The screen isn't even turning on. And now I am supposed to plug and pray that it would read any data from the flash drive? I am unsure it would work out..honeslty I even went as far as thinking could that be even a BIOS problem somehow? I managed to get an BIOS image of my model from the Acer website and put it in the USB drive root. I then got in the "Crisis Recovery Mode" via Fn+Esc and hoped it would read the data. Unfortunately it wasn't the case either since fans weren't maxing out and USB LED panel on the laptop just kept blinking. But nothing else happened. I waited for a long time but nothing was really happening.

I don't want to lose my hope either but honestly I am quite scared if the Acer Service would refuse in the repair even under the warranty.

UPD: Connecting to external display doesn't work either. No image. I think it's the worst case scenario.

Have any ideas what could cause the issue? I want to remind that this laptop never had any physical damage. No hits, cables, connecters bent and etc. It's new.

I just want to know the approximate issue behind this.
