when I start, it boots by default to ubuntu, whcih I have removed.

when I press F12 at startup I get a list of 2 options: Ubuntu and windows boot loader

It defaults to ubuntu (which I have removed, and so it fails), and so I need to wait and press F12 at exactly the right moment every time I start or restart, which is a pain. is there any way I can edit this boot menu to remove ubuntu?
