Hi everybody, I've a problem with a Veriton X2632G:

after I've enabled secure boot in Bios, save the changes and reboot the Pc, it asks me for an Hdd password: the password is on the hd (SSD 500GB) and in it there are my Data too…the problem is that i've not set an HD password in BIOS

Now I've this on screen, someone can help me? Who I've to call to get the code?

Thanks to everybody!

You should contact Acer support directly. We are all just other Acer users here, with no direct connection to support.

I'm sorry as the link didn't link but here is a snippet. It says to leave the two fields blank and hit enter to REMOVE THE PASSWORD……

This is confusing as it states: So looks like a dead end. But I'd try it.

Larry is correct in his last post. You have to send it to a service center to remove a forgotten password. In the earlier post where it said to leave the two fields blank, it was talking about removing a known password.
