    What is your Acer product model number. As there are allot of guides on the web of how to extract an .fd file for the Insyde bios software. Be aware that if you have no experience in bios .fd file extraction and/or bios flash recovery its advisable that you take your Acer product to a technician that has the proper bios reprogramming tools and software, as the cost recovering and reprogram your bios is minimal and will be allot cheaper than you bricking the bios chip an d anew bios chip will be required. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Recovering the bios is a specialist procedure and if you don't know and have no experience of how to do this you will not fix/recover the bios and you could do more damage to the bios chip and then you will need a new chip that will cost you even more. I suggest that you save up and get that technician in your area to do this for you and recover the bios of your Aspire A314-22 laptop.

    The Aspire A314-22 Acer service guide has a "Crisis Disk Recovery" guide that I've extracted and made a .PDF doc below for you, but if you don't know how to construct this bootable USB (use Rufus 4.5) and extract the .fd bios file from the last A314-22 bios version: 1.21, then this guide is useless to you, as this is as far as I can help. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Use the last version bios .fd file for the USB flash drive and then follow the guide. Try that as there is no Z8E.fd file for this laptop available from Acer.

    So I don't need to rename .fd file? Use the one it came with?

    No just use the .fd file from the last bios and see if that works as I've no idea where that referred Z8E.fd file is or where you can get it from, as Acer does not have any reference to it.

    @FuryOP

    After extracting the BIOS exe file, you should see two files called Z8E_multi.fd and Z8E2_multi.fd.
    Copy both files into a FAT32 USB and proceed with the BIOS recovery.

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!
