Predatos sense just not showing anything at all on helios 16

So I literally bought this laptop yesterday got it in today and went to do some configuring and porting the data from my old laptop to this one. Eventually got ready to fully look into predatorsense, problem first already started with the rgb lighting for the keyboard where it wouldn't work at all. The app itself was fine. Managed to get the lighting to work as that was a thing in task manager of sorts. After a short gaming sessions to test this thing out I eventually shut it off to get dinner. Now turning it back on to play another game and noticed I couldn't change my performance with the button. Went to the predator app and was met with this screen.

Needless to say I'm slowly growing frustraded because i've tried everything. Reinstalling, installing older versions, installing other versions, restarting. Everything I could find online.

I gotta add, everytime I boot off my computer I hear a windows error sound before it shuts off. I can't see what it is as apps don't get displayed either that could be stalling the shut off.

Please I literally just got this laptop today, someone tell me there's a fix for this :((

okay so, to get back at this. It literally just fixed itself? I ran a few big scans as this laptop is brand new and downloaded all the updates it recommended, restarted my computer and I was fine! Next day it did the exact same but again after a quick restart it fixed itself. I haven't had the problem ever since

Make sure windows management instrumentation service is set on automatic

Don't know if will matter since you fixed it but this is how i fixed when i had problems :

Unninstall Predator Sense Install/Config + Visual C++ Redistributable 2015_2017_2019_2022 from Control Panel > restart > install Predator Sense (Predator Sense will also install Visual C++ , if you need a newer version you can get it here

Latest Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One May 2024 Download

) > restart .

Turn Off Dynamic Lighting from Windows settings , Turn Off Fast Start Up > restart .

Unplug all other RGB devices (if you have any) > restart .

Windows and BIOS up to date .

In your case probably some app/game installed a newer or an other version of Visual C++ (that Predator Sense is also using it and screwed things) and in combination with Fast Start Up even worse (i think) .

Windows up to date including optional ones ? Try an older version (if you didn't) of Predator Sense and update it through Microsoft Store .

Yes, the update is enabled. Also installed 2 optional updates. predator sense tried different versions, old and new. also tried to install PHN 16-72. my laptop is PHN 16-71

I don't think it was any other code that messed with predator sense. From my experience it fixes itself everytime I update my laptop. So when my laptop is outdated it SOMETIMES does that. But an update and restart at that just instantly fixes it
