Hi, uninstall all preinstalled bloatware, freebees, trial versions and 3rd-party browsers/virus checkers, open Task Manager Processes and check how many apps are running at the background, if much more than 70 uninstall some programs you never use and disable some services and Startup apps like accSvc and accAgentSvc (Windows Services). Disable Syncing in Windows and any telemetry apps you see in Task Scheduler. Keep the power adapter plugged in 24/7 and the battery fully charged to 100% to avoid power throttling. Don't use a USB-C charger for gaming.

    • Update your operating system and software to the latest versions.
    • Disable unnecessary startup programs through Task Manager.
    • Install a data usage monitor to track and manage data usage.

Hi, if you use a gaming USB-C charger like this Asus ROG 100-W charger (check Amazon) that will be OK for light gaming but not for power intensive work, if you are using a universal GaN or phone charger performance will be very bad (power throttling) and the battery will deplete.

2-3 hours of battery life is normal for the gaming laptop. You can try to close some background apps, lower screen brightness, and turn off the keyboard backlight to save battery consumption.

The gaming laptop should have the charger plugged in most of the time to get the best performance and reduce the battery wearing from the charge/discharge cycle.
