Is the Intel Core i9-10900K compatible with the Nitro N50-610 motherboard?

I have a desktop Nitro N50-610 gaming computer. I am wondering if I would be able to upgrade from my Intel Core i5-10400F to a Intel Core i9-10900K. Would this work with my motherboard?

The below list is the cpus that Acer fitted to the Nitro N50-610 desktop models, the bios for this desktop does not cater for the higher spec Intel i9-10900K cpu and if you upgrade to the i9, then the mobo won't boot, so be aware of that. You would be much better off upgrading the ram and its PCIe3 x4 M.2 SSD drive to a quick Samsung 970 EVO NVMe read 3300mbps/write 3000mbs and to what Acer fitted as the top gpu, which was the NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER GDDRVI 8GB ATX PCI-EX16 so that it operates within this desktops 500W PSU range. Good luck.

Thanks for the info! Where did you find all of this if I may ask? Also, is there a way to get my ram to the motherboard's maximum frequency?

I'm glad to help you out, the specs come from the N50-610 Acer service guide. To get the max ram speed install DDR4-3200MT/s type ram and try to purchase the ram modules that Acer tested this desktop with and is listed below:

I currently have 16gb of 3200 MT/s ram and my task manager says my speed is only 2133 MHz. I was wondering if there was any way to get it to 2666 MHz? And if I buy the ram listed there would it go to 2666 MHz? Also, could you please provide the link to the N50-610 Acer service guide where you got your information from? I cannot seem to find it. Thanks again!

Its the wrong ram type that is why its not operating at the 3200MT/s full speed with your desktop, the above listed ram is what works 100% and is guaranteed to work at 3200MT/s speed with the N50-610 desktop. Or as a last resort go to Crucial ram N50-610 drive & ssd upgrades and see what they have for your desktop. Good luck.
