I need some info about the above matter that had been plaguing me with this new laptop. I had STEAM installed and download "COD: Modern Warfare" and "Dota 2". Unfortunately, both of the games were instantly closed and back to my desktop. There is no error popping out from the game.

However, when I run synthetic benchmark "3DMark" and "Cinebench24", it perform flawlessly.

What I had did was:-
1. Clean install Windows 11

2. Nvidia, BIOS, Windows update and all necessary drivers are up to date

3. Clean the temp files

What could be the problem since this is my first time facing such issue. Appreciate all the comments, thanks.

    Hi @NaRa85,

    Use the Reliability Monitor tool to obtain more details if errors are occurring:

    Press Win + R (Run), type perfmon /rel [Enter].

    When status screen viewer appears, click on a red flag items (critical events) at each day showed at the bottom of the viewer.

    Use double-click on a line item for additional info.

    Also click on View all Problem Reports (see bottom link in first screen) to display all problem's reported.

    There was no error logged into the "Reliability Monitor" and nothing on the "View all the problems".

    It there anymore possibility might cause this weird behavior?

    #1 - Check that there are no disconnection problems on your network;

    #2 - Check that your GPU isn't overheating;

    #3 - Try downgrading the NVIDIA GeForce driver;

    #4 - Try running DOTA 2 as Admin.

    #1 - Check that there are no disconnection problems on your network - I'm using LAN connection direct from Router, so no connection interruption

    #2 - Check that your GPU isn't overheating - Put an air cooler below the laptop and the temp is manageable

    #3 - Try downgrading the NVIDIA GeForce driver - Will try to use DDU later on and reinstall back latest driver

    #4 - Try running DOTA 2 as Admin - Done, but still exist to desktop instantaneously

    I tried all the steps but still problem persist. Will give DDU a tried but I still suspect it might lie from some Windows services might get interrupted when running games.

    #5 - Conflict with your antivirus software. Try add the folder or game .EXE file in the exception list;

    #6 - Disable Game Mode in Windows;

    #7 - Insufficient Virtual Memory size. Try adjust it;

    #8 - Try disable Overlays (Discord, etc);

    #9 - Set launch options with -dx11 or -vulkan.
