How to determine the network adaptor driver to use as there are intel and atheros in the support page. I did a clean install of windows 11, and now there is no Acer loaded drivers in the laptop. Need to find the correct driver to download to a usb to get the laptop connected.

    Welcome @ywdavid,

Generally, the Aspire A515-45 series comes equipped with Realtek RTL8111H (LAN) and MediaTek MT7921 (WLAN) controllers.

You can still find the HWID through the Device Manager (press Win + R, type: devmgmt.msc [Enter]):

    Thanks eGomes.

I checked the Product support page for my device and the Mediatek MT7921 driver is not listed there.

My device was originally loaded with 22h2 version but this clean install gave me 24h2 version. Is there a problem with this. Can I try download the MT7921 driver from another acer support page that has it and try to install that on my R84P laptop.

At the bottom of the list, click on the Load more button:

    😉👍🏻

Yep, you can download latest version available for MediaTek MT7921 controller from the Microsoft Update Catalog:

    https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=MT7921

Use 7-Zip to extract the CAB file into a temporary folder. And then manually update the driver via the Device Manager.
