The ANV15-41 laptops Storage 1 boot M.2 drive slot is of PCIe4x4 speed and Storage 2 slave M.2 drive slot is of PCIe3x4 speed. The max ram you can install into this laptops 2x slots is at max total of 32GB and the ram type suitable for this laptop is the DDR5-4800 MHz type ram.
The Acer ANV15-41 does not show what capacity ram should be installed into its 2x slots provided, but its NOT advisable to mix a DDR5 8GB module with a DDR5 16GB module in this laptop's slots 1 and 2, as the laptop will not boot or work, you need to have equal capacity ram in each ram slot like 8GB with 8GB or 16Gb with 16GB in each ram slot. Good luck and hope this has helped you put.

Can I go for 32+32 in both slots?

Yep, I believe your Nitro V ANV15-41 is capable of supporting up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM (48GB + 48GB).
But, 64GB is guaranteed that it will:

The Nitro ANV15-41 with the AMD model R77735HS or the R57535HS cpu’s have a max memory capacity of 64 GB and they support max rated memory speed: DDR5-4800MT/s and up the an embedded memory speed type: LPDDR5-6400MT/s.
There is no way that the ANV15-41 laptop will support 96GB DDR5-4800MT/s (2x 48GB) capacity ram, don’t try it as it wont work.

Will this device work? Also can use only one slot with 32GB RAM & leave another empty for later?

- So it only has drive slots for two m.2s, no SATA SSDs?
- Are the two m.2s drive slots limited to 1TB, or can at least the second one go higher?

The ANV15-41 does not have provisions for a 2.5" SATA 3 drive only supports these M.2 SSD drives that are 2x PCIe 4 x4 lane type drives, Acer lists not specifies 2TB as they list what they test the laptop with at the time of release, which doesn't mean that the laptop will not work with a 4TB or an 8TB M.2 SSD, have a look here as a reference to all 1TB 2Tb and 4TB Gen 3, 4 and 5 type M.2 SSD drives benchmarking performance.
Also remember, that drive capacities are governed by the windows operating system drive format type, Win-11 has a GUID (GPT) format, the limit for this format is 8 petabytes max, which 1 petabyte = 1000TB so this laptop will handle 4TB easily. Good luck.

With that in mind, it sounds like I could do 2TB for boot drive and 4TB for the second m.2. Thanks.

That's right, 4TB should work perfectly and add extra storage if you need it to your laptop for whatever extra storage that you need.
