Hi!

One or two hours ago Wupdate updated some Acer services, and after these updates, i noticed that Nitrosense would get stuck on the reading of the cpu temp. As the fans seem controlled by Nitrosense, they would NOT ramp up at higher temps because of the software reporting a WRONG temperature. I used HWinfo to monitor my cpu temps and they were 70 and RISING in idle while Nitrosense temp reading was STUCK at a lower temperature (in the 50s).

Restarting ALL Acer services AND nitrosense seems to fix the issue until the Nitrosense GUI opens.

Yes, my fans work perfectly fine, i can control them with the manual control of the Nitrosense nitrosense app.

Temperature reading is broken only for Nitrosense.

Can't we get an Acer engineer to see this?

The problematic update seems to be:

acer incorporated - softwarecomponent - 1.2.101.2
