I have an Acer Aspire AG15-31P, BIOS versionV1.05 and the only boot option is 1. Windows Boot Manager.

How do I place the USB option in the Boot priority order?

Make sure secure boot in disabled and you can boot into usb using boot menu. You may need to enable it in the BIOS:

    • Enter BIOS by pressing F2 during startup.
    • Navigate to the Main tab and find F12 Boot Menu; set it to Enabled.
    • Save changes and exit BIOS.

This process allows you to boot from various devices as needed. Now-

    1. Power off your laptop completely.
    2. Turn it on and immediately press F12 repeatedly until the boot menu appears.

If issue persists, then create bootable ususb Using Rufus software in gpt partition.

To create a bootable USB using Rufus, follow these steps:

Steps to Create a Bootable USB with Rufus in GPT partition

    1. Download and Open Rufus:
      • Download Rufus from its official website. No installation is required; just run the executable file.
    2. Insert USB Drive:
      • Connect the USB drive you want to make bootable (it should have at least 8GB of space).
    3. Select USB Drive in Rufus:
      • Open Rufus; it will automatically detect your USB drive. Ensure it's selected in the "Device" dropdown.
    4. Choose ISO File:
      • Click on the "Select" button next to "Boot selection" and browse to the ISO file you want to use (e.g., Windows).
    5. Configure Settings:
      • Ensure the Partition scheme is set to GPT based on your system's requirements.
      • Set the File System to FAT32 for compatibility.
    6. Start the Process:
      • Click on the "Start" button. You may see a warning that all data on the USB will be erased—confirm this to proceed.
    7. Wait for Completion:
      • The process will take a few minutes. Once done, you will see a message indicating that the USB is ready.
    8. Safely Eject USB Drive:
      • Close Rufus and safely eject your USB drive.

You can now use this bootable USB to install or run an operating system on compatible devices
