Acer Aspire 5 Gaming laptop (A515-58GM-55TH) Display issues

I just bought a new Acer Aspire 5 Gaming laptop (A515-58GM-55TH) with Intel core i5 13420H processor and RTX 2050 graphics. Whenever I make the refresh rate into dynamic mode, 60hz or 72hz and then when I try to awaken the laptop from sleep ( the laptop is open ) the screen has wierd lines all over it and whole screen turn into Grey color. I have included a picture. Please reply ASAP as my travel plans restrict my stay in India to 10 days. After that I have to travel to Eritrea.

    Uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) download version 18.0.8.0 and then install the GeForce Experience software and afterwards do a scan of your system with GeForce Experience for the appropriate new NVidia game ready driver for the RTX2050 gpu and also make sure that you have all the windows updates updated and the latest bios version: 1.54 installed, as you need to refresh especially all the graphics drivers to see if the laptop hasn't got any hardware issues

    The laptop could have a bad eDP cable/plugs or a screen, so do the above and then see if this refresher rate of 60Hz and 72Hz turns the screen like above still? If its still the same, then you need to send your Aspire A515-58GM laptop to Acer Tech Support in your country so that the Acer technicians can fix this issue or change your laptops mainboard as the gpu is faulty.     Did this problem arise after some windows update?

    The problem was due to older version of driver for Intel UHD graphics. This was identified today by the technician at Acer exclusive store in LULU Mall Kochi. After our earlier visit they offered us a replacement with a new piece today. As we went for it, the technician mentioned that they observed the same issue with the laptop which was in display at the store. They isolated the reason and corrected it in the store's laptop. They have updated the driver from year 22 version with newer 24 version.

    Version 32.0.101.5972

    Date 2024-08-19

    As of right now It's functioning fine.

    Thank you for notifying the Acer community Aaroncyel on the fix of the above distortion problem, as this is very helpful information on the solution for this problem of the Aspire A515-58GM-55TH laptop model graphics.

    The fix with the Intel graphics driver Version: 32.0.101.5972 - dated: 2024-08-19 (which is a new Intel driver) is the opposite that is recommended and that is NOT to use Intel's latest drivers as they cause flickering and distortion😀, which means that to only use the oem Acer provided Intel graphics drivers for laptops/desktops and AIOs and/or whatever the windows update version that the Intel graphics diver gets updated to is the appropriate drivers, so your information is very useful👍
