Seeking Help with ACER Aspire 3 A315-53 Drivers for Windows 11

Hi ACER Community,

I purchased my ACER Aspire 3 A315-53 (Windows 10) back in 2019. Two years ago, I upgraded to Windows 11 on this laptop. Since then, I have been struggling to find the correct drivers for this model on the ACER website.

I've scoured the site but can't seem to locate the drivers compatible with Windows 11 for my laptop. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have any tips on where I might find these drivers?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hi, the Aspire A315-53 is not listed among the models tested and confirmed by Acer for Windows 11 compatibility. This means that Acer has not provided updated drivers for this model to support Windows 11, the i5-7200U CPU is not compatible, W11 requires at least 8th Gen CPU, and it may not have TPM 2.0, which is necessary for Windows 11. Press the Windows key + R and type tpm.msc but even if you get the picture below there is still the 7th Gen CPU issue, I recommend not running Windows11 as updates and Windows security will fail

    Hi Puraw,

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate the information about the compatibility issues with the ACER Aspire 3 and Windows 11. Given the points you raised about the CPU and TPM requirements, it seems like sticking with Windows 10 is the best course of action for now.

I'll take your advice and ensure my laptop runs smoothly on Windows 10. If anyone has additional tips or resources for optimizing the performance on Windows 10, I'd love to hear them.

    Thanks again for your help!
