Hello :)

So, I have an Acer Nitro N50-620 desktop PC which I primarily use for gaming. When playing demanding games like Baldur's Gate 3, I experience significant performance issues. The game lags a lot and barely runs on anything but the lowest graphics settings.

The specifications of my PC are as follows:

Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F 2.60GHz

RAM: 8 GB

System type: Windows 11 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX1650 4GB

I'm interested in upgrading my PC to better handle demanding games like BG3. I have considered whether more RAM, a new graphics card or CPU would improve performance. I would therefore like to hear your recommendations on which upgrades would give me the best results in terms of performance?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Just some additional information and to improve your desktop even more to the above upgrades, as Acer also had a high spec version of the Nitro N50-620 desktop that had the higher spec i7-11700 or the i7-11700F (which runs hotter) cpu's and the more powerful NVidia RTX-3060Ti GDDRVI 8GB ATX PCI-EX16 Acer part #: DA.30T11.001 gpu, that the RTX-3060Ti gpu outperforms the GTX 1650 by a whopping 160% on aggregate benchmark results, so the combination of a quick Gen 4 x4 lane M.2 SSD with its max 64GB ram at 3200MT/s and a i7 cpu and the RTX3060Ti gpu will make your N50-620 perform at least 150% quicker than before.

Also, Acer fits the i7-11700(F) cpu's and the RTX-3060Ti gpu to this desktop with its Acer proprietary 500W PSU with its power ATX 1x 6pin and 2x 4pin mobo plugs, so you will not have to upgrade the PSU as all these upgraded components will work together well with the desktop as its been tested by Acer. Good luck and hope this helps you out more.
