How to turn off audio noise suppression on my acer predator helios neo 16
on my acer predator helios neo 16, if i play a video game or watch a movie or realy anything that plays audio and there is a sudden "high pitched" or "loud sound", my pc somehow supresses the noise by lowering the volume completely and then slowly inchreasing it again after. I find this realy annoying and i cant seem to find out how to turn this off.
i have been looking in every realtek, dts, purified voice and speaker settings i can find, but there seems to be no way to dissable this. The only thing that turned this off was to dissable the signal/audio enhancements option in the speaker properties under advanced. But when i turn this off, i can bearly hear my audio at 100%.
if i connect my headset the noise suppression does not happen, it only happens when i use the integrated speakers.
i have also tried uninstalling both dts and purified voice and opdated the speaker drivers but the noise suppression still happens.
Have anyone had this problem before, know why it happens and how to turn it off?

Try the following steps:
- Disable Windows Communication Settings: Go to Control Panel > Sound > Communications tab and set it to "Do nothing" when Windows detects communication activity3.
- Check Audio Enhancements: In the speaker properties, ensure that any enhancements are turned off, as they can interfere with volume levels

i will try to disable the windows communication system when i get off work and update you.
as mentioned in the post, i have trued ro dissable the audio enhancements in the soeaker properties, this removed the audio suppression problem, but when the enhancements sre turnes off i can bearly hear anything from the speakers even at 100% volume0 -
Also ensure DTS and Purified Voice: Ensure that DTS and Acer PurifiedVoice features are turned off, as they may contribute to audio suppression
