"Officially" this problem only affects Intel Core 13th and 14th Generation (K/KF/KS) desktop processors:
However, there are reports that this bug may also be affecting laptop processors:

Only time will tell, as they "guarantee" that the 13th and 14th generation Intel mobile processors are not affected:

could someone please tell me, I’m getting so many mixed answers. I just bought a gaming laptop yesterday as I read laptops are not affected by this… as soon as I boot laptop I get a critical error Kernal power event I’d 41.
I7 13th Gen. I do not see the model number listed in affected CPUS.
cores temps get to 90celcius almost instantly, if I open any game or any thing the computer full crashes no warning . Just shuts down.
do I need to upgrade the new BIOS? I don’t want to brick my brand new laptop and void the warranty0 -
Nope, you are best off to either send it back to your vendor and swap for a replacement or start a ticket with Acer for warranty repair. There's no reason it would act like that unless there were a hardware issue with the system. As you found, the laptop CPUs aren't affected by the issues the desktop CPUs can experience.

As mentioned, Intel claims that this nightmare is over:
Coincidence or not, there have also been CPU microcode updates for Intel 13th / 14th Gen mobile processors during this period:
CPUID Family Latest Latest MCU Version
Raptor Lake S 0x125 (0x12B will encompass updates 0x125 and 0x129)
B0671 Raptor Lake HX
Raptor Cove/Gracemont
90672 Alder Lake S (Golden Cove, Gracemont) 0x37 (2024-05-29)
90675 Alder Lake S (Golden Cove, Gracemont) 0x37 (2024-05-29)
B06F2 Raptor Lake S (Raptor Cove/Gracemont) 0x37 (2024-05-29)
B06F5 Raptor Lake S (Raptor Cove/Gracemont) 0x37 (2024-05-29)Which ends up generating a doubt in us users! If "really" these processors aren't also likely to be affected by these degradation problems caused by eTVB and Vmin Shift Instability. 🤔
