RAM upgrade for Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-71WE

Dear community.
I have purchased Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-71WE model, which contains 16GB (two 8GB memory sticks):
https://www.compuram.biz/memory_module/samsung/m425r1gb4bb0-cqkol.htm
Manufacturer | Samsung |
---|---|
Manufacturer Reference | M425R1GB4BB0-CQKOL |
However I am trying to upgrade ram to 64 GB (two 32 GB stick):
https://www.compuram.biz/memory_module/crucial/ct32g48c40s5-m16a1.htm
Manufacturer | Crucial |
---|---|
Manufacturer Reference | CT32G48C40S5.M16A1 |
However, when installing these two new memory stick of 32GB each, PC does not start.
Please advice, is the bought RAM incorrect and other should be bought or, the motherboard does not support 32 GB memory sticks (in total 64GB)?
Or are there some kind of hardware/software changes that I need to introduce before I can install larger RAM memory sticks?
Thank you.

Hi, the i7-12700H CPU supports 64GB DDR5 4800 MT/s RAM and Kingston + Crucial recommend up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, but Acer recommends only 16GB maximum per socket (32GB total RAM) and I have not seen yet 64GB installed in this model (including Benchmark).

Hi, the slots support maximum 16GB DDR5-4800MT/s RAM. Try to return the two 32GB modules and buy these: Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR5-4800 SODIMM | CT2K16G48C40S5 | Crucial.com
No, you have to stick to the speed that the CPU i7 12700H supports: Up to DDR5 4800 MT/s not 5600, 6000 or 6400 MT/s

Dear Puraw.
Thank you for the response and detailed explanation.
Maybe you could advice which frequency of DDR5 can be added to specific laptop?
May I add DDR5 with frequency 5600 MHz, 6000 MHz or even 6400 MHz?
Default laptop RAM is DDR5 4800 MHz .
Thank you.

Today received two stick (Each 16 GB) of your recommended Crucial ram memory. However computer did not start with it, had to revert back to original two 8GB(each) memory sticks.
What is the issue that I am unable to upgrade ram to a higher volume, stock 16GB is pretty sad for 2024 computer?
Maybe Crucial memory sticks are not supported by motherboard and for example Samsung memory sticks are only compatible with this laptop?
BIOS settings or any other settings must be adjusted so 32GB would be accepted?
Any switch within hardware must be changed so higher volume RAM could be utilized?
Please advice.
Thank you.
