If your Acer Nitro 50ye automatically turning on and then shutting down, and you've confirmed that the temperatures are within a reasonable range (68 to 70 degrees Celsius), there are several potential causes to consider:-
    Power Supply Issues:-

Inadequate Power Supply: Ensure that your power adapter is functioning properly and providing enough wattage for your laptop, especially under load. If the power supply is underpowered, the laptop may shut down unexpectedly.

Battery Problems: If your laptop is running on battery while gaming, it may shut down if the battery is unable to provide the necessary power. Try using it while plugged in.

    Hardware Malfunction
Faulty RAM: Defective RAM can cause system instability. You can run a memory diagnostic tool (like Windows Memory Diagnostic) to check for issues.

Faulty GPU: If the graphics card is failing or has issues, it may cause the system to shut down during graphics-intensive tasks.

    Software Issues
Driver Problems: Ensure that your graphics drivers and other critical drivers (like chipset drivers) are up to date. Outdated or corrupted drivers can lead to crashes.

Game Compatibility: Some games may have compatibility issues with your hardware or software configuration. Check if others have reported similar issues with the same game.

    BIOS and Firmware
BIOS Settings: Sometimes, settings in the BIOS can cause instability. Make sure your BIOS is up to date and reset any overclocking settings to default.

Firmware Updates: Check for any firmware updates for your laptop that might address known issues.

    Event Viewer Logs
Check the Windows Event Viewer for any critical errors or warnings that occur around the time of the shutdowns. This can provide clues about what might be causing the issue.

    Steps to Troubleshoot:-
Run Diagnostics: Use built-in diagnostics tools or third-party software to check hardware health.
Update Drivers: Ensure all drivers, especially GPU drivers, are updated.

Check Power Supply: Test with a different power adapter if available.
Monitor Performance: Use monitoring software to keep an eye on temperatures, power usage, and other metrics while gaming.

If the problem persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, it may be worth consulting with a professional technician or reaching out to Acer support for further assistance.
