Good day guy

I have a problem connecting a brand new 4k 43' monitor to my Acer nitro 5 ,I've now followed most guides on YouTube, reboot, bios.

Downgraded from Windows 11 back to 10

Updated Nvidia drivers nothing seems to work ,I've changed to multiple display ,bought USB to VGA adaptor, bought USB to HDMI adapter and also bought straight HDMI .

The laptop doesn't even regonise connections ....I did not the computer screen draw back small and become normal size again however the screen is not regonised.

Is this a Acer nitro 5 problem as I see many struggle with this issue?

I would really love some help.

Thre is no Acer tech contact in South Africa working"it's very poor" this product sold in South Africa without any support.

Please help.

Hi, if your Nitro 5 has Thunderbolt 4 check if the USB-C port supports Display Port Alt (DP) and connect your 4K monitor with a DP 1.2 Belkin cable to the USB-C port of the Nitro 5. If no TBT4 make sure the monitor port is set to HDMI and not DP, if the Nitro 5 model is from 2017 it may not support 4K or you may have a HDMI port issue, update your BIOS or try a USB3.0 active graphics adapter with a HDMI output port that supports 4K at 60Hz.
