My Acer Aspire 1 A114-33-C4B9 works perfectly when I run it via power. In Windows 11 it says that the battery is charged to 100%.
But when I unplug the power cord the computer dies.
Bought a new battery (KT00304013) but same error.
My BIOS is unfortunately old 1.17 but I can't install later BIOS. When the update starts, the error message "insert system battery" appears.
So, how do I proceed? Have you had this problem before?

Hi, something wrong with the battery connection or power rail, I recommend bringing the laptop to Acer Services in your country to check this, include the power adapter.

Okay, I guess I'll do it!

    Try windows + x

Go to device manager - expand battery

uninstall all the items below battery.

    restart the computer.

It might also be the issue with battery, charger or power outlet.   Try to use the charger in a different room on a different power outlet.  Try to bypass the surge protector and connect it directly to power outlet.    Try to use an alternative charger if possible.
