That's normal, you should not unplug the adapter/charger at any time especially using Turbo Mode and the dGPU RTX 460 that consumes up to 115 Watt and will deplete a battery in 30-40 minutes. Keep the adapter/charger plugged-in 24/7 and make sure the battery is always 100% charger. If you plan not using the laptop for several days unplug from the electrical wall socket and your laptop for safety like any other electrical appliance.

Hi, I missed that, this means you need a stronger more powerful adapter or reduce the workload, uninstall some of the pre-installed programs, 3rd-party browsers/antivirus, bloatware, trial versions, etc. and use Best Power Efficiency in Power & Battery settings. If you are using a USB-C charger, get a 100-Watt gaming charger like the Asus ROG charger (Amazon $50). If you are using the barrel plug power adapter that came with the unit consider buying a larger one.

While in turbo mode, the laptop may exceed the specifications of your charger. Cpu reaches 54 watts, while gpu reaches 85w.

The 135w charger still isn't enough I guess. In turbo mode the cpu can reach 54 watts, while the gpu reaches 85. That exceeds the charger limit and does indeed drain the battery. It needs a better charger, & a better software too.

True dat for the better software. For me the battery drains a bit even in balanced mode(and only in some games). I found that Windows sometimes reports what is draining the battery, too. And for me, it's System and Windows LockScreen. While i'm playing, plugged in. wth… maybe a driver+bios issue? Anyway, a lot of people are reporting this problem, acer should address this. This laptop model is full of potential, they can't fumble like this
