Hello,
I have the acer-predator pox 950 (i9 13900kf and intel z790 motherboard)
I'm looking to change some option into the bios (to resolve crash on discord and a game (WOW))
for that i have to change those option :

  1. Set SVID behavior to Typical Scenario.
  2. Set short duration turbo power = 253
  3. Set long duration turbo power = 253
  4. Set max core/cache current = 307Amps

but i can't find any way to change that.
I saw a lot of video where there is a second "advanced settings" tab in the bios, but i have only one and overall those video are done for laptop, not desktop pc.

How can i make those change here ?

my bios is in version 1.02

Thanks in advance !

Anything that isn't shown in the user interface and doesn't appear when you do a CTRL-S isn't available to change. You could update to 1.03, but that's unlikely to have changed at all.

What "to resolve crash " are you having in World of Witchcraft and Discord, as changing the bios is not always the answer, give us more details n the crash's. Your desktop the POX950 shopuld handle WOW and Discord perfectly and without any crashes, if you have these problems consult Acer Tech Support in your country and get Acer to fix this problem.

That is an error with the WOW software, not an issue with the OS or BIOS. They attempted to read something from address -1, which should crash since the address space is always positive. :)

mmh ok, i looked in a lot of forum/post about it, and usually they was refering to a problem with the 13/14900k intel.
For example here is a post about it :
    https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/1axepvu/optimizing_stability_for_intel_13900k_and_14900k/?share_id=lckUfHCYQltBlIsLO8oZn&utm_content=2&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1

i enable the XMP and it seems to work fine now =

thanks for the answer, it's weird all those post about "hidden spec" in the bios. hope it will help other people too :D
