Keyboard problem on Nitro 5. I have a USB keyboard plugged into my Nitro 5

The back lite does a weird dance around the keys. This p's me off because it cuts the key press out so what I type gets missed.

This is new behavior or I've been two thick to notice it before. A possibility, I don't use it unless my desktop isn't going. And I do acknowledge I'm thic

Unfortunately My MSI desktops 2070 died after 4 years. The last nVidia was a Titan X went for 7 years then I cooked it. nVidia's help isn't. Silly bugger wanted a video of an overheating card spinning the fans at full speed with the smell of very hot.

So their ploy worked I'm getting an AMD

Any way I'm a week into using the Nitro. I've cut the keyboard down to the start of the line in Nitrosense set on Dynamic whatever that means?

Put it on

Static has a thin red line around the edge of the image it shows. See what happens.

Ah well so much for that idea.

If I want a light it's a white one behind the keys so I can read them in the dark. I'm blind enough as it is. I don't need help in not seeing.

The silly action seems to have a regular time.

How do I stop it doing a snake around the keyboard. How do I stop taking my ability to press keys and have them do what keys are meant to do?

Very frustrating having to wait until it does it's thing.

No too inconsistent. seems to count from key press. Don't press a key it does it for about 3-ish minutes. don't press a key it'll do is thing then wait for more time than my patience. Then sensing my finger will do it just before I push the key.

Has Acer, done any updates that may effect the USB keyboards. This one is a new one I got yesterday.

Does the Nitro have a voltage sensitive USB limit? When plugged into the mains power?

Yeah the MSI has, to many USB drives and it'll crash the usb. Even with a powered USB connector. Never had this problem with earlier pc's. Was a bit of a shock. Unplug some of the overload and it can recover

Anyone had this problem and found a fix?

Cheers Bob.

PS She Software updated sometime around the last two plus weeks.

Hey Bob sounds like a keyboard backlight issue maybe try disabling the backlight in Nitrosense or update drivers might fix it

    Thanks for replying Samiss.

Tried another update check. It didn't come up with anything new.

The main thing is I can play games. So that side is fine.

It's just txt work It chucks me out. Does my head in. Mind you the txt side is a bit more stressful on its own, lost parcel.

Still hopefully not long now and my pc should be up and running again. And this one can go back in its box.

    Have a good one.

    Cheers Bob.
