My C24-195ES has a USB-C port issue that doesn't recognize devices

My new C24-195ES has a USB-C port, which is too tight for most plugs.

I plugged in an Integral SD/MicroSD card reader and it wasn’t recognised. Pushing it in harder worked, but the plug on the card reader broke when I pulled it out.

Does anyone else have similar issues with this particular model?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

The USB-C port is soldered directly to the motherboard, so it's hard for it to be much out of whack:

Is there a chance the case itself isn't fully snapped closed? If so then it would be appropriate to contact Acer support to open a ticket.

I contacted the company that I bought it from and they have agreed to replace it.

I will check the replacement and see if the case is completely closed.

    Thanks for your input.

Let us know if you do see a difference. Usually the fir is pretty good from the factory, though sometimes they get stressed during shipment.
